Stobi Archaeological site - Macedonia - 20.06.2019 - Photo Gallery

Stobi is an archaeological site from ancient time on Crna (Erigon) and Vardar (Axios) rivers. Its favorable strategic position, enabled it from a small settlement in the Hellenistic period, later in the Roman period to grow into an economic and cultural center.

According to historical data, the city of Stobi existed until the end of the 6th century.
